Project Limits:

This project is located in the City of Wilmington along South Lincoln Street from Sycamore Street to Linden Street.

Project Need

The goal of the project is to provide sidewalk and curb improvements, ADA standard upgrades to existing curb ramps, pedestrian lighting, traffic calming and landscaping.

Project Overview:

The design is for a sidewalk facility along Lincoln Street from Sycamore Street to Linden Street. The proposed pedestrian facility includes replacement of 5-foot wide concrete sidewalks with a brick paver/concrete combination, along both sides of Lincoln Street, brick paver crosswalks, ADA compliant curb ramps, decorative lighting, new 8-inch concrete barrier curb, traffic calming "neck-downs" and a neighborhood identification sign.
