200 feet North and South of the bridge

Project Need

This bridge consists of severely corroded corrugated metal pipes (CMPs). As such, it is structurally deficient and was selected by the Pontis Bridge Management System for replacement.

Project Overview:

Replace the deteriorated CMPs with a precast concrete arch. Construction will be completed in one stage with a detour. Reconstruct approaches and place riprap in the stream to protect the structure.

Current Project Schedule:

Design Phase: Design work completed in February 2012.

Construction Phase: Construction work to start in Summer 2012 and be complete within approximately 2 months of beginning.
