Project Need

This bridge consists of severely corroded corrugated metal pipes (CMPs). As such, it is structurally deficient and was selected by the Pontis Bridge Management System for replacement

Project Overview:

Replace the deteriorated CMPs with a precast concrete frame. Construction will be completed in one stage with a detour. Reconstruct approaches and place riprap in the stream to protect the structure.

Design Phase: Design work to be completed no later than May 2012

Construction Phase: Construction work to be completed in the Fall of 2012
